{"id":2417,"date":"2019-07-22T08:03:14","date_gmt":"2019-07-22T08:03:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lexer.es\/machine-learning-presente-y-futuro-del-sector-legal\/"},"modified":"2020-06-09T17:57:30","modified_gmt":"2020-06-09T15:57:30","slug":"machine-learning-present-and-future-of-the-legal-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lexer.es\/en\/machine-learning-present-and-future-of-the-legal-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"MACHINE LEARNING&#8217;: PRESENT AND FUTURE OF THE LEGAL SECTOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In recent years there has been talk of <strong>Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> (AI) in the legal sector and its applicability in various areas, from predicting the meaning of judgements or predicting the time taken to obtain a ruling to drafting AI-based contracts<\/span>.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This <strong>technological boom<\/strong> has made law firms adapt their hardware and processes, being a sector that finds it difficult to break with tradition and adapt to change. The implementation of <strong>Lexnet<\/strong> in the Public Administration has caused a change in the conception of the sector, being more and more technological and innovative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main problem that law firms face in the implementation of these projects is their applicability to specific processes and the truth is that it is not an easy task. Therefore, it is necessary to create <strong>interdisciplinary groups<\/strong> in which programmers, lawyers and mathematicians are integrated, this being the perfect formula to place the AI in real projects that can contribute to a disruptive solution within the office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is why we have been working for some years on the applicability of <strong>machine learning<\/strong> to the management of court decisions.
